That’s why we consider it a privilege to work with you on your project. We never take your business for granted and make it a priority to ensure you are comfortable with every step of the process.

THE BUILDING PROCESS

Depending on your situation, you may need every step of this process, or just a section of it. While they are numbered here, the most efficient projects are not entirely linear. The earlier we can get involved in a project the better,  so drop us a line!

Capturing your vision

We begin with initial site visits to really understand what you want to gain from the work you’re considering. Meeting face to face ensures we understand your thoughts and budget, and allows you to share your brief, ideas and moodboards etc

Getting it down on paper

Initial designs and plans are drawn up by us, with feedback from you. Once the direction of the building project is established,  we bring in a carefully chosen architect based on your build style and needs.

Do you need planning permission?

Our experience means we can advise what the authority will approve, preventing the waste of time and money. The architect will create plans and submit your paperwork. We understand this process and can liaise with the authority and deal with revisions on your behalf.

 

And building control approval?

We work with a private approved building control contractor with over 30 years experience. The major benefit of this is having the same building inspector, providing continuity throughout your building project.

Preparing for the build

We will provide an itemised quote and building schedule, and begin organising our team. Where possible we like you to meet the team in order for you to get a feel of who will be working on your project. We love to arrange workshop visits where you can see the care and skill that goes into our joinery.

Construction begins

Our team will begin construction under the instruction of our project manager. The building schedules ensure that everything and everyone will be on-site at the right times. The project manager makes regular site visits, and our skilled and experienced team communicate and work together to ensure a seamless build.

INTERIORS & FINISH

Time to make changes inside, we can help with flooring, plastering, decorating and more. Our electricians and plumbers can guide you through the process and help you with practical decisions. 

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

We are flexible, and all our work is contracted, so we can work to find a payment structure that suits us both.
