Case Study

Oak Timber Frame Garden Room Extension in North Norfolk

The client for this oak framed extension had plans drawn up for a very different project – a mezzanine to be installed within their existing barn conversion.

After discussion we suggested that an additional room could be added to their house to create the dining space the client required: without eating into the internal space, without the upheaval and all within a similar budget.

The garden room was carefully designed to allow the view from the kitchen to be retained, and the building to become ‘invisible’ from this angle.

We worked carefully with the client to choose the finishes to suit their building, their taste, and their budget. Including antique brass lights, switches and sockets, and radiators-all installed by our sub-contractors.

Attention to Detail

The steel tie bars supporting the ceiling were designed and fabricated specifically for us, before being sprayed in our workshop
